General Usage Guidelines

  • Catalogerr is open-source software under GPL-3.0 — feel free to use, modify, and self-host.
  • Please always run the latest stable release for the best experience.
  • Report bugs, issues, or feature requests via our GitHub Issues.
  • Do not use Catalogerr for illegal purposes (piracy, copyright infringement, or malicious use).

Communication

  • Be respectful and constructive when providing feedback.
  • Use clear and concise language when opening GitHub issues or discussions.
  • Avoid spamming, trolling, or off-topic comments.

Contributing

We welcome contributions of all types: - Bug fixes - Features - Documentation improvements - UI/UX refinements

Steps to contribute: 1. Fork the repository 2. Create a feature branch (git checkout -b feature/amazing-feature) 3. Commit changes (git commit -m 'Add amazing feature') 4. Push to your fork 5. Open a Pull Request


Expected Behavior

  • Respect other contributors and users at all times.
  • Assume positive intent when reviewing feedback.
  • Be patient — maintainers may not respond immediately.
  • Stick to the technical scope of Catalogerr when in discussions.

Unacceptable Behavior

  • Harassment, abuse, or personal attacks
  • Discriminatory language or exclusionary jokes
  • Posting malicious code, exploits, or spam
  • Ignoring project maintainers’ requests

Enforcement

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in: - A warning from project maintainers - Removal of contributions or issues - Temporary or permanent ban from contributing
